Corso balances softness and lightness with strength and durability. Designed for comfort in use and efficient production, components are reduced to what is essential. Top panels have a tactile elliptical edge profile, highlighting the solid timber and disguising the economical 19mm thickness. The V-shaped leg assemblies have a machining and construction sequence which minimises material use and waste. Tables and benches come in two sizes. Tables disassemble for compact shipping/storage. for L.Ercolani
A response to a brief for cabinets with texture and crafted detail, Modulo is built around simple layouts and considered proportions. A fine-edged outline frames tightly grooved push-release door and drawer fronts. Carcasses are assembled with rounded dovetail joints, and a floating underframe gives a sense of lightness. Manufactured in solid oak.

Mia Tables + Cabinets
for Ercol
The key detail on this simple oak range is a 20 degree chamfer that softens the edge of all Mia pieces. On cabinet doors and drawers the chamfer extends outwards to create smoothly flowing integrated handles. The outer curve of legs and uprights is mirrored on inner faces, creating an eye-shaped cross section. Shadow gaps and visible end-grain add to the crisply defined feel.

A new take on the archetypal Ercol two seater bench, plus a new armchair and loveseat using the design language of Lucian Ercolani's classic 333 chair from the 1950s. The collection is quiet and simple, allowing the pieces to sit comfortably in a wide range of domestic and hospitality settings. Arc-shaped handle cut-outs create a flowing line running across the front of each Verso cabinet, highlighted by contrasting metal backing plates - black on light stained versions, brushed brass on dark. The range is compact and economical, designed for simple CNC production. Common parts are rotated in orientation to keep components to a minimum. Drawers have an additional concealed finger-pull to allow two-handed opening. Manufactured in solid ash.

A range of flexible tables for hospitality and contract settings. Smaller desks, or tables for cafes and restaurants, simply combine top panel with a leg and brace fixed flush in each corner, allowing customers to easily specify bespoke sizes. Larger tables have an extended brace structure and optional cable management. Manufactured in solid ash with laminate or veneered tops.
Modulo Stacking Storage
for Ercol
An offshoot of the original Modulo small cabinet - the same basic carcass can be stacked 2 or 3 units high, oriented left or right handed, and can be specified with any combination of doors, drawers or adjustable/removable shelves. These simple modular variations result in numerous possible storage combinations. Manufactured in solid oak.

Marino Seating
for Ercol
A best-selling seating range made up of armchair, footstool and two sizes of sofa. Traditional factory specialisms of steam-bending and turning are combined with 5-axis CNC machining to create lightweight, strong, production-friendly frames. Ergonomics were tested widely to ensure a natural, relaxing sit. Manufactured in solid ash with foam and feather upholstery.

Luca Tables

Durable, compact, solid ash tables to complement the Lara Chair. Designed for cafes and restaurants, the square version rotationally stacks to facilitate quick clearing of a space. When flat-packed the underframe rails remaining attached to the solid top underside, preventing bowing or movement. Customers simply fix legs to rail ends during final assembly via concealed bolts. Designed in 2017.
Poly Screen
Prototype
Built around polypropylene's 'live hinge' capability, flat sheet is CNC machined to create graphic, flexible, free-standing screens in a single component. The rectangular cut-pattern allows the screen to stand either vertically at 1920H, or horizontally at 1440H. The white screen is translucent, the black opaque. Rolls up for compact storage/shipping. 100% recyclable. Designed in 2007.
